Your Inspection

At TruScope Home Inpsections, we use the very highest home inspection standards in the industry and will inspect every system of your home. We inspect according to International Association of Certified Home Inspectors Standard of Practice (InterNACHI SOP), as well as the CAN/CSA A770-16 Home Inspection National Standard of Canada.  Don’t be fooled – this CSA standard is not yet law in Alberta and very few home inspection companies commit to this higher standard of practice.

We know the unexpected can happen.  It’s true that many home inspections can be completed in two to three hours.  However, situations do arise when more time is needed for a thorough investigation. We want you to get the best home inspection possible. Our inspectors will not have to rush to finish with you in order to make their next appointment on time. We do not overbook. Our inspectors have the time to commit fully to your home inspection.

After we walk through the home together, we will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. We will also mention the items that you will want to monitor for possible problems in the future. All of this will be detailed in our easy-to-read inspection report, delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report you’ll be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference.
